Auto Complaints
I ate a piece of pumpkin pie (with whipped cream!) while I drove home from work yesterday. What did YOU do.
The 92 miles (148 kilometers) that I spend in my car everyday commuting to Canada is starting to get to me again. I really love my job (unlike my last one), but it is still tough to wake up so early every morning knowing that I have to spend about an hour in my car, and then repeat the process on my way home. I know my commute isn’t as bad as it could be, but I just don’t think I was cut out for this much driving.
I recently replaced my windshield due to a stone chip that turned into a huge crack within a few hours. I need new tires or I will most likely end up in a ditch this winter. Gas prices are just insane on both sides of the border. Almost everyone in Michigan drives like an asshole. I am cranky in the mornings and especially right when I get home from work.
Until I get my “greencard,” (if I get it) this is the way it has to be, but even then I’m not sure I’ll be able to leave such a great job with great people. I just wish everything worked in a straight line for once.
And that, my friends, is the end of my complaint.
