I have resisted making one of these accounts for months, but oh well, here I am giving into FormSpring.  Clearly I have nothing better to to on a Friday night.  At least I’m not watching Matlock…again.

One of the only things keeping me going right now is knowing that the holiday season will soon be here.  I think it’s going to be a good one.

Ho ho ho, y’all.

I’m briefly interrupting my Tumblr hiatus because today is an anniversary - I have been living in the United States for exactly two years.  My first six months were a little rocky, and things weren’t the best after one year, but as of today, I feel better about everything.  I’m still not sure if where I’m living is somewhere I want to be for a long time, but at the same time, I’m feeling a lot less homesick.  Will I ever make the leap to apply for permanent residency status?  I don’t know, but it is a decision that must be made within the next few years.

Also, it’s hard to believe that I’ve used Tumblr throughout this time, from the moment I found out I would be moving to the U.S. over 2 years ago.  I really need to go back and finish tagging with my Canada vs America tag (which I haven’t used in 2 years haha).

I have been neglecting Twitter, my feed reader, my email, my Tumblr, and basically everything else I do online.  I’m not sure when things will slow down for me, so unless I find myself with a few minutes to spare, I am on an indefinite hiatus.  I will miss my Tumblr friends :(

I am sick of commuting already.  Anyway, this is what I listened to during my 10+ hours in the car this week:
