October 1st marks 4 years of living in the US. I was excited when I first learned the news in 2007. I was homesick in 2008. Feeling better in 2009. Apparently I didn’t commemorate the anniversary in 2010 (damn Tumblr hiatuses). Now, in 2011, I am in the (somewhat) final stages of my “green card” process (biometrics appointment in a few weeks!).

RIP Jack Layton

Oh, Canada!
Happy Canada Day! No cake this year though. I love Canada, and I love the United States, and I think I’m in a unique position where I get to experience both countries on an (almost) daily basis. The only downside is paying the toll to cross the border several times a week!

Smart Cover Marking Up Side of iPad

I lost the bet

I know I've said this before, but...
I just feel like saying it again: I am not impressed that Tumblr lacks an app that is optimized for the iPad. I find myself getting incredibly irritated every time I use their official app.
Four Years Later...
I forgot to mention that my Tumblr turned 4 years old on May 3rd. 2007 seems like a lifetime ago.

Caught Up
I just read everyone’s Tumblr posts from the past week - it took me an hour and a half. In the 4 years that I’ve been using Tumblr, I don’t think I’ve missed more than a handful of posts from the people I follow - that’s how much I like you guys. If you wrote it, I’ve read it.
